Today marked the start of the Christmas festivities for us. Aside from the 2 different church Christmas parties we have already attended.
Today we went to my parent’s house and had our finger food party and gift exchange. With 9 siblings, we just draw names at Thanksgiving so we aren’t buying for everyone. We have in the past but it’s hectic and dare I say, expensive! At any rate, we had so much fun and I got lots of good pictures and video.
I am a bit worried because Levi’s voice is really hoarse this evening and I’m not thrilled at the idea of dragging a sick baby around to get worn out and possibly sicker. I should have realized that he wasn’t feeling well when he slept till almost noon today! He usually gets up around 9. Ah well, we will just hope and pray for the best. I’m so excited for the boys to open their presents!!! 🙂
I hope everyone IRL and URL will have a very very Merry Christmas and a most blessed New Year. 🙂 May God richly bless you in the coming year.
Merry Christmas! XO

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas! Choosing names is a great idea! We usually buy for just parents and grandparents. No kids to give presents to besides ours yet.

Thank you! We did have a good Christmas. I hope you did as well. We’ve asked DH’s family to draw names but they refuse. But we’ll just roll with it for now. I imagine as the extended family grows, our idea will make more sense to them. 😉

Thanks I did. A bit crazy traveling (how do you do it?) that resulted in is coming home a day sooner than planned. I told my husband I don’t want to travel overnight with the kids again anytime soon.

Aaw, sorry to hear that the traveling didn’t go well. It is rough with little ones. But it gets easier!
